At Chew Valley Youth, we’re more than just a football club — we’re a community. Based in Dundry and the Chew Valley, we’ve been proudly developing young players for over 27 years. We offer football for boys and girls aged 6 to 16, welcoming players of all abilities across a wide range of age groups and leagues.
Whether your child is new to football or looking to grow in a competitive environment, Chew Valley Youth provides a supportive and inclusive space to learn, play, and thrive. Our teams compete in several respected leagues, including:
This broad participation allows us to offer tailored opportunities for players at every level.
Training takes place on Wednesdays or Thursdays, depending on the team. Weekend activities include matches or additional training, based on age group and league commitments. Sessions are held at local pitches in Dundry and the wider Chew Valley area.
All our coaches are FA-qualified and committed to creating a positive, safe, and engaging environment. We focus on:
As a fully affiliated club, welfare and safeguarding are central to everything we do. All staff and volunteers are DBS-checked, and each team has a dedicated Welfare Officer. We are committed to ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and valued.
We believe in the power of community. Throughout the year, we host team events, community days, and fundraising activities that bring families and players together, strengthening the bonds that make our club special.
We’re always looking for new players, volunteers, and sponsors to join our football family. Whether you're a parent, a local business, or a young player ready to get started — we’d love to hear from you.
